Camp Barney Medintz Experience
For Rising 2nd-5th Graders
CBM Experience provides a great taste of what Camp Barney, the MJCCA’s summer overnight camp in the North Georgia Mountains, is all about! Campers will begin their week with a day at MJCCA Day Camps to get to know their cabinmates for the week. Then, Tuesday morning they will leave for an amazing three-night adventure at CBM. They will participate in an exciting mix of activities to get an idea of what CBM has to offer, to feel more comfortable with the overnight camp environment, and to make tons of new friends! Please note: this camp has an additional fee of $400 per camper.

Rising 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade campers in Camp Isidore Alterman have the opportunity to go up to Camp Barney, enjoy its popular activities like The Blob and Hurricane water slide, and spend the night!
Huntsville Space Camp
For Rising 4th-8th Graders
Blast off with us to the Huntsville Space Center! Campers will spend Monday and Tuesday at the MJCCA enjoying space-themed activities. On Wednesday morning, they’ll head to Huntsville and participate in the Huntsville Space Center’s Pathfinder program on Wednesday and Thursday. Each night, they will stay at a nearby hotel. Please note: this camp has an additional fee of $400 per camper.
For Rising 3rd-5th Graders
Travel with us to the coastal wonders of Savannah, GA! Campers will spend the week at the Savannah Jewish Educational Alliance and participate in camp activities with JEA Camp Savannah. They’ll also explore the exciting and historical city of Savannah. Day trips may include a dolphin tour, a visit to Tybee Island, a ghost tour, strolls on River Street, and more! Campers will leave the MJCCA on Monday, stay overnight at the JEA, and return to the MJCCA on Friday. Please note: the total cost for this camp is $890 per camper for MJCCA members and $965 per camper for the community.
Youth Sports Academy

For Rising 4th-8th Graders
Back for its second year, Youth Sports Academy is all about athletic development and character building. Boys and girls in rising 4th-8th grades will amplify their athleticism by selecting a primary sport (i.e. basketball) and a secondary sport (i.e. Ultimate Frisbee) and hone their skills with guidance and training from professional coaches. They will stay at Kennesaw State University’s Marietta campus and compete in its state-of-the-art sports complex under the supervision of the Sherry & Harry Maziar Sports Camps staff. Campers will also participate in our “Thought for Sport” core character values program which provides campers with sports tips and lessons on key values like responsibility, respect, self-discipline, and sportsmanship. Please note: the total cost for this camp is $890 per camper for MJCCA members and $965 per camper for the community.
