Camp Overview
Do you feel the need — the need for speed? In this two-week action-packed engineering experience, campers will take on the challenge of designing, building, and racing their own Soap Box Derby–style cars from the ground up. From concept sketches to full-scale, functional vehicles, participants will experience the entire automotive design process using professional tools such as laser cutters, 3D printers, and CNC machines in The Weber School’s Daniel Zalik Academy Fabrication Lab. The camp culminates in a final race where creativity, craftsmanship, and performance are put to the test.
