Free Swim at Camp

MJCCA Day Camps campers participate in free swim in our Zalik Outdoor Aquatic Center featuring three pools, two water slides, zero-entry, splash park and more!

Every camper attending MJCCA Day Camps is required to take a swim test administered by the MJCCA Aquatics Team before their first week of camp.

To make things easy for families, swim testing will begin in mid-February. Once registered for camp, the Aquatics team will offer multiple drop-in opportunities for campers to test at the JCC prior to the start of camp.

The swim test is designed to differentiate amongst 3 levels of abilities. Each level of ability will be identified with a specific-colored band.

Once your camper has completed their swim test and based on their ability, they may choose to use our water slides. If your camper wants to go down the Shoob Slide in the Samsky Pool, they must be 48” tall and if your camper wants to go down the Silverman Slide, they must be 42” tall.
