    Parent Communication

A clear line of communication between parents and camp is critical to the success of our camp program. Our camp directors and unit heads work directly with your child’s counselors and should be the primary source of communication. During the day, counselors are directly involved with their campers and will not be available to speak with you. Please contact a camp director with any questions or concerns. Campers are not permitted to make a phone call unless supervised by their unit head or camp director. MJCCA Day camps has a zero technology policy, so please do not send your camper with a cell phone.

    Camp Mail

Camp Mail is used to communicate daily transportation changes to the day camps transportation coordinator. Carpool families will be able to turn camp mail in during morning carpool. Before-Camp Care and Bus families should turn mail into the head counselor. Please do not send camp mail in your child’s backpack.

Camp Mail can be submitted online or through your online camp account. It can also be emailed directly to

Please note that camp mail must be submitted by 11am on the date of your requested transportation change.

    Weekly Email Communication

Each week, MJCCA Day Camps families can expect to receive the following:

    • Weekly Welcome Email (emailed each Thursday prior to week of attendance)
    • Monday Counselor Email
    • Friday Snapshot Newsletter

For the safety of your child, the MJCCA does not allow unscheduled visitors to our camp programs. Please contact the camp office in advance to schedule a visit. All approved visitors must check in with the office staff and must be escorted by a staff member.
